Bethany Odahara

I have been passionate about hair styling since I was a young girl. It was something that always came natural to me, but focusing on my family I waited to go to cosmetology school until my 3 children were a little older. Irene and I met in hair school and prior to opening I and B Studio we worked together and side-by-side as stylists for 10 years. I feel that hair is like a canvas and I love to create different looks to enhance my client's natural beauty while giving them a style that suits their life. Some of my background includes doing television work as well as hair for photo shoots. I continue to challenge myself by taking courses and collaborating with other stylists. I have had extensive training for Balayage at various studios including the L'Oreal Academy in New York City and most recently attended the ARROJO academy also in New York for razor cutting. I am thankful to all of my clients for allowing me to do what I love every day and to be able to use my talents in my profession.
Irene Williams
Owner
I have always had a passion for art and creativity. I love painting, interior design and creating things with my hands. From a very young age I wanted to be a hair stylist, but with my parents strong guidance I decided to go to art school. After graduating I worked as a Graphic Designer for several years. I loved all aspects of design, but with everything being computerized I really missed being able to use my hands to create. In 2006, when my son was old enough to go to pre-school, I decided to follow my passion and enrolled in cosmetology school for hair which is where I met Bethany. We struck a friendship almost immediately and have been very close and working side-by-side for 15 years. Some of my background includes attending Vidal Sassoon Academy in California for their 5 day intensive courses, taking Balayage classes at the L'Oreal Academy in New York City, personal growth seminars, and most recently taking razor cutting courses at the ARROJO Academy also in New York. Owning a Salon has always been a dream of mine and I am so thankful to all of my clients for their continued support!
Elizabeth Orsie
Stylist
Liz grew up in Germany which is where she first got introduced to the hair industry. One of her friends who was a stylist came to live with them which jumpstarted her desire to do hair. Liz is a talented stylist and has been working in a salon environment for years. She started as an assistant at the same salon where Irene and Bethany both worked. After working as an assistant for two years Liz made the decision to go to hair school. Once she became a licensed hair stylist she worked at a salon in Towson where she continued to learn from colleagues while taking more advanced courses. Liz has a great eye and is a very gifted stylist who is always striving to make her clients look their best. In addition to all of our hair services, Liz also offers Hair Extensions. Isabella Calla
Assistant/Apprentice
Bella is our very hard-working and talented apprentice who has been working at I and B Studio as an assistant. She is learning from all of our stylists and developing her own style and craft. Bella enjoys all aspects of hair and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
Iryna Pavlovska
Aesthetician
Iryna is originally from Ukraine. The first beauty and massage school that she attended was in her country. She started her career in the beauty industry over 20 years ago and has never stopped learning and growing. Being bilingual allows her to follow all the latest European beauty trends and stay on target with what she has to offer to her clients. She believes in the holistic approach and in treatments targeted to her client’s individual needs. Helping people look and feel healthy and more beautiful is always her goal. Iryna also performs energy/reiki healing to bring a balance to her clients’ bodies and energy bringing out a glow from the inside. Christie Cerquitella
Lash Artist
Christie is a certified Lash Extension artist here at I & B. She has worked as a salon assistant with Irene and Bethany for a few years at a previous salon and now at their own business. She has always had a passion for the beauty industry, particularly fashion hair colors, makeup artistry and now doing lashes. Christie loves designing unique lash sets based on each clients features and loves making women feel beautiful by accentuating their eyes. In her time off , she loves to spend time outdoors with her two kids, husband and their two dogs.
Lauren Krapf
Stylist
Lauren grew up in the hair industry and has been working in a salon environment for fifteen years. She started as an assistant which is when she learned all the ins-and-outs of working in a salon and for the last nine years she has been working as a stylist. Lauren was mentored by her uncle, Dean Krapf, who is one of the most influential stylists in Baltimore. She has a passion for art and studied visual and graphic design. Her industry training includes receiving education from Robert Paul Academy, L’oreal Professional Academy in New York and DC. She is also certified in Keratin Complex. Lauren has experience in Editorial, Freelance, and Bridal work. She greatly values the relationships that she has formed with her clients throughout the years, especially from the beginning of her career as an assistant where she grew into the stylist she is today. Lauren is excited for this chapter of her career working with former coworkers/mentors/ friends!
Caroline Clawson
Stylist
Caroline is an accomplished stylist with 15 years of experience in the industry. She graduated with honors from the Carsten Institute and has a passion for coloring and styling. Her many skills include tailored men’s cuts, women’s short cuts and she specializes in cutting long thick hair. Caroline loves designing updos, working with fashion colors and has a great eye for creating custom blondes. Her goal is to always make her clients look and feel beautiful, while keeping their hair healthy and manageable. Caroline continually updates her knowledge of techniques and new trends, but with a classic touch.
Irina Khitrova
Endosphere Specialist
Irina is a licensed cosmetologist and Endosphères specialist. She has always been a part of the beauty industry, and worked as a hairstylist after graduating from Aveda Institute in Washington DC. Later she realized she’s more passionate about holistic approach to health and body aesthetics. After trying Endosphères protocol and experiencing amazing health and aesthetic benefits she decided to promote this European treatment here in US. We are very excited to be offering this service.
Ashley Tillery
Lash Artist
Ashley has been in the beauty industry since 2009. She started as a hairstylist and is now doing eyelash extensions. She loves all forms of art and has a gift for executing things with tremendous attention to detail. Ashley continues to perfect her craft through advanced education and collaborating with other artists. She enjoyed her years as a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader because it gave her the ability to dance which is another one of her passions. Ashley has traveled all over Europe where she gained endless inspirations for life as well as her career. She has a daughter named Vera and a life partner who she enjoys spending her free time with. Irene, Bethany and Ashley worked together for many years and are really excited to be working together again!
